Validation strategy

Quantas validation follows a hierarchy of evidence:

- analytical limits and identities;
- comparisons with the historical implementation where scientifically useful;
- comparisons with independent or established external software;
- comparisons with published reference values;
- end-to-end checks on curated real datasets.
